Complete metadata helps your music reach the right listeners and ensures proper royalty tracking.

Essential Metadata Fields

Copyright Information

Copyright & Rights Basics

Understand how rights work to maximize your earnings and avoid disputes.

🎵 Sound Recording Rights

You own the recording once created. This is separate from song composition rights. Master recordings can be licensed to us for distribution without losing ownership.

✍️ Composition Rights

The songwriter(s) own the composition (melody, lyrics, structure). These rights are managed separately and collected via performing rights organizations.

🏷️ ISRC Registration

International Standard Recording Code uniquely identifies your recording. Helps with royalty tracking, usage rights, and music identification across platforms.

⚖️ Copyright Disputes

If someone claims rights to your music, we'll investigate. Provide proof of ownership (receipts, contracts, creative files) to resolve disputes quickly.
