Distribution Terms & Conditions

These Distribution Terms (the "Agreement") are entered into between MUSIC ADDA and the Artist/Creator submitting content for distribution.

1. Grant of Rights

Distribution License

You grant MUSIC ADDA a worldwide, non-exclusive license to reproduce, distribute, and make available your sound recordings on digital music platforms for the period specified in your subscription plan.

Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to your master recordings and compositions. MUSIC ADDA acts as a distributor only, not a label or rights owner.

2. Content Requirements

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or control all rights to the content submitted
• The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• The content is original or you have authorization from all rights holders
• No compositions are copied or plagiarized
• All featured artists and contributors are properly credited

3. Prohibited Content

You may not submit content that:

• Violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains hateful, abusive, or obscene material that violates platform policies
• Includes unlicensed samples without proper clearance
• Infringes on third-party rights (explicit samples, covers without licenses)

4. Rights Verification & Disputes

Copyright Claims

If third parties claim rights to your content, we will investigate and take appropriate action. You are responsible for resolving disputes with other rights holders.

Takedown Notices

If we receive valid copyright takedown notices, we will remove the content without refund. Repeated violations may result in account termination.

5. Payment & Royalties

Earnings

You earn 100% of royalties from DSP streams and sales. MUSIC ADDA charges only upfront release fees and optional add-on services.

Payment Schedule

Royalties are calculated monthly and paid within 30 days of month-end. We only pay earnings above ₹100.

No Refunds

Distribution and add-on service fees are non-refundable once your release is submitted for distribution.

6. Account Termination

MUSIC ADDA may terminate your account if you:

• Violate the rights of others or breach this Agreement
• Submit fraudulent or inaccurate information
• Engage in abusive behavior toward our support team
• Repeatedly violate content policies

Upon termination, no further royalties will be paid, and your content will be removed from all platforms within 30-60 days.

7. Limitation of Liability

MUSIC ADDA is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for:

• Lost or delayed royalties due to platform errors
• Technical issues beyond our control
• Copyright disputes or third-party claims
• Removal of your content by DSPs

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be resolved through arbitration.
